Product Cleaning Instructions

To preserve the quality and longevity of your Ames bag, please follow the care instructions based on the material type:

1. Soft Fabric Bags

  • Machine washable – place the bag inside a pillowcase for extra protection
  • Select the “Hand Wash” cycle at 30°C with low spin
  • Do not hang to dry. Lay flat in a shaded area to air dry naturally (direct sunlight may cause fading, as these fabrics are 70% cotton)

Examples: THEROS, OSTRAKO, DEOS, OLYFOS, KELEFTHOS

2. Fabric Bags with Combined Materials

  • Spot clean only with a soft sponge and a small amount of gentle laundry detergent
  • Avoid full washing to maintain the bag’s original shape and structure

Examples: KLEOS, VELOS, THALOS, ALAS, ELIA

3. Leather Bags

  • Gently spot clean by hand using a soft white cloth with water, or a mild baby wipe
  • The use of a white cloth helps avoid any potential color transfer

Examples: ASTI, SOMA, ALOS

Important:
Dry cleaning is strictly not recommended for any bag.
